What are Preferred Contact Methods

Connector's standout feature lies in its flexibility, as it avoids confining users to a single proprietary communication method. Our priority is ensuring users can interact where they feel most comfortable. These communication options are managed within your profile, emphasizing the importance of setting them up and keeping them updated to reflect any changes in your contact information.

When initiating a connection request, users are prompted to specify their preferred communication methods for that particular connection. These preferences can vary for each connection and encompass a range of options established within your profile. Currently, these include Connector's internal chat app (which is always available by default), SMS/Text, Email, Phone, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, or even Face-to-Face meetups.

Upon receiving a connection request, potential connections will only see the contact methods that both parties have in common, ensuring that personal information you prefer not to share remains confidential. Once a connection is established, all mutually available contact methods become accessible, transforming Connector into a powerful communication tool.
