How to make Connections

Once you've completed your profile setup, navigate to the Nearby menu. Within this menu, you'll find two tabs for different viewing options.

Map View: This provides a visual representation of potential connections in your vicinity, highlighting hotspots where people may be gathered. Particularly useful in bustling environments like convention centers or airports, the Map View offers a general overview without revealing precise locations. It includes a slider at the bottom for filtering connections based on their Value Score. Slide the bar to the right to focus on individuals with a Value Score of six or higher. This filter also applies to the List View.

List View: Here, you'll see potential connections within a predefined radius of your physical location, determined by your device and movements. Note that this list isn't necessarily limited to individuals physically nearby; rather, it showcases potential connections within the specified radius. By default, the List View is sorted by Value Score but can be sorted using various criteria. The icon next to each connection's information represents their Value Score, not their proximity to you. Presently, the List View displays potential connections only, with future updates planned to incorporate existing connections as well.

To initiate a connection request, tap on the user you wish to connect with. This opens their profile, where you can explore shared interests and commonalities that contribute to the Value Score. You'll only see shared items and factors influencing the Value Score. Once connected, you gain access to their full profile. Begin your connection request by tapping the button at the screen's bottom, selecting preferred connection methods, and including a message. Connector only displays connection methods you've already set up in your profile, ensuring compatibility. Likewise, recipients only see connection methods shared with them. Chat functionality is always available. Upon submission, the recipient receives a notification.

Upon acceptance of your request, you'll receive a notification, and all shared communication methods become accessible.
